I Think I'm in the Wrong Profession!

OK.... Where did I go wrong??? 4 years of college and then Graduate school... just to earn a living! Well, Tanner and his buddies raked in 50 plus dollars today selling lemonade again! Is that crazy or what? I got very nervous when a Ludowici Police Officer pulled up out front, but she actually bought some lemonade! I hope we're not breaking any child labor laws here! He's just psyched to have some spending money for the cruise :) And breaking news.... after going through what seems like thousands of house plans, I think I've narrowed it down to two!!!! Thanks for all of the advice! :)

Get your lemonade!

My child will do just about anything to make a buck.... with the exception of chores! He and his buddy raked in a whole $12.15! Not too bad, I guess :) So while trying to organize and pack, I was making pitchers of lemonade and Kool-Aid. So be careful if you drive down Macon Street in Ludowici.... You might be asked to buy a cup!

Houseplan Headache!!!!

Why is it so difficult deciding on a houseplan???? I have free rein to choose whatever I want and I CAN NOT decide!!! We received great news on our construction loan today and everyone is waiting on me to get the plan. Talk about pressure!!!! If I can not decide by tomorrow, I'm taking all 5 plans and putting them in a hat and just let it be the luck of the draw.... unless anyone has any advice....

A Busy Sunday

We had lunch with Roy's parents. They were still in town for the birthday party we had yesterday. They're great people. They gave Tannr a nice card and some money for getting a Presidential Award at the end of the school year. He was tickled.

I'm still trying to pack up what seems to be a LIFETIME of stuff. The deal is that we're actually moving 12.4 miles up the street (301) to live at Roy's house (right on the Glennville line). This is going to be a huge change. We're in the process of renovating his house and trying to get out of this one at the same time. But, we only have 2 weeks to do it! We leave for our cruise on the 28th, then the day after we get back, we're leaving for Indianapolis for 5 days. We'll be home for about 3 days and then we're off to NJ to visit family, drop off Tanner and then head to Virginia Beach for another conference that he has. So needless to say, I'm stressed and can not procrastinate as usual! Can I just tell ya'll that NO ONE should have as many clothes as I do IN SO MANY DIFFERENT SIZES!!!! It's just not normal! While sorting through clothes, I've found things that I haven't seen in YEARS!!!! I have so many different stacks! Work clothes, summer clothes, winter clothes....I even have a "don't fit but I wish did" stack! Why don't I get rid of these???? Cause I'm a hoarder!!!! I managed to get a small... and I mean smalll... stack for Goodwill. I'm just hoping this will all just miraculously come together. We're also searching through house plans to come up with a plan that we can both agree upon. That is taking forever. We're going to build on about 25 acres right next to his current house. See, LOTS of changes. So, keep me in your prayers cause I think I might need some meds! :)

We just got back from the birthday party. It was nice. I actually took some pictures! Yeah! Now I just have to figure out how to get them on here! AHHHH!!!! I just noticed the "Add Image" button! I'm going to see how to work it! I did it! This was the party girl, Roy's granddaughter, Savannah. She is something else!

Still Don't Get It!

OK.... I'm flying by the seat of my pants here.... I still don't understand this blogging stuff. To make matters worse, I'm TERRIBLE about taking pictures! I suppose I could prance around Ludowici like a Japanese tourist taking pictures, but I honestly just forget! I wish someone would've taken a picture (actually a video would've been better!) of me the other day when I was reaching up in the kitchen cabinet trying to get my coffee for my morning fix and noticed something black on my arm that wouldn't come off! I SCREAMED BLOODY MURDER and was running around the house like a mad woman! I ran into the bedroom to get Roy and was hollering and crying like crazy. Yes, it was a tick!!!!!!! EWWWWWW!!!!! I ran and got the tweezers and he got it out. He thinks I'm nutty.... well maybe I am... but the thought of having a parasite burrowed under my skin and draining my blood out totally freaks me out! Plus, being the hypocondriac that I am, of course I'll be examining my arm for the Lyme Disease rash!!! So, yes, a video of that whole drama would've probably won me thousands on Americas Funniest Home Videos! But it just wasn't funny...Anyway.....

Tanner, Roy and I went to Splash in the Boro yesterday as planned. We had a good day in the sun. I love it there:) But of course, I left my camera in the vehicle! So no pictures there :( Today is going to be busy. Tanner is with his Dad for the weekend, but Roy and I have his daughter's and granddaughter's birthday party to go to in Brunswick. His parents are coming up from Florida for it and I AM GOING TO TAKE PICTURES! So if I can figure out how to add pictures to my blog, I'll be set! I'm off to start my day!

Today was my first attempt at blogging. Yes, my blog is lame for now, but my friend, MS said she would help me out! This is my first ever effort at blogging! Our lives are so crazy now, though, that I thought I would share. Call it therapy! :)

Today, my 10 year old son, Tanner, thought it would be cool to mix baking soda and vinegar and make a film canister pop. What fun we had with that! Little scientist :) Then, he wanted to have a water balloon fight. Well, nails and water balloons don't mix, but I tried my best at filling some. 23 to be exact. We are going to wait for Roy to get here and see if he'll join in the fun. Doubtful, but it's a possibility.

Tomorrow we are heading back to Splash in the Boro. Roy took the day off of work to join us. Tanner is bringing his friend, James. I'm sure it will be fun! We love that place! So, now I am going to attempt to try to add some pictures. Don't know if it will work or not. We'll see how this blogging stuff goes. We have so much going on this summer and I would like to make a record of it! Wish me luck!
